Commercial HQ Match Report

       Commercial got back to the league campaign after last weeks impressive cup display with a lack luster display in which they had to dig deep to gain a point, which over the course of the game they probably deserved. Commercial took an early lead when Jono Harding headed the ball over the stranded goalkeeper after the keeper had flapped at Matt Varley's right wing cross. But then Commercial sat back and went to sleep and conceded too quick goals to go in at the break 2-1 down.

       Harehills quickly extended their lead early in the second half and it looked a tall order for the Commercial to get back in the game, but get back in the game they did. First Antony Jones, a second half substitue, won a free kick on the left and Jono Harding flighted the ball into the box for Lee Bull to flick home a header over the again stranded keeper. Commercial followed this up with another quick goal. Substitute Rob Atkinson launched a long ball into the box from right full back and the Harehills centre half stretched for a header but inadvertantly headed the ball over the keeper, who for the third time in the game was stranded, to levels the scores. Commercial had numerous chances to win the game, enough to win three games infact, but it wasn't to be and a hard earned point it was.
