Commercial HQ Match Report

       Commercial extracted full revenge on Original Oak after the controversial game at Roundhay Park earlier in the season. Chris Jones opened the scoring, firing past a flat footed goalkeeper. He then added a second, heading home Matty Simon's left wing corner at the far post. Original Oak did pull a goal back but Chris Jones restored the two goal lead with his hat-trick goal. Rob Atkinson played the ball thorugh and Chris Jones lobbed the advancing goalkeeper.

       Chris Jones was also involved in the forth goal. His initial shot was blocked but the rebound came straight back to him and he squared the ball to the supporting Jono Harding to fire home first time low into the far right hand corner. Changes were made in  the closing 15 minutes with the game seemingly won, but Original Oak rallied and scored two quick goals in the closing 5 minutes and the home side had to hold on in the closing minutes. They had goalkeeper Kieran Sutcliffe to thank in the last minute, who pulled of a stunning save high to his left from a free kick. But the home side held out for a deserved victory.
