Commercial HQ Match Report

       Its was back to 'CHAMPIONS LEAGUE' action for the home side this week and they put on another impressive display to clinically dismantle their Brighouse opponents. Commercial had the lead within 20 seconds when Matty Simon picked up the ball just inside the opposition half before lobbing the goalkeeper Beckham-like from all of 50 yards. Jono Harding added to the lead by slotting home when clean through on goal after being put in by Matty Simon .

       There were no more goals in the first half but it was quickly 3-0 early in the second half when Chris Jones fired home first time with his RIGHT foot from all over 30 yards when Eastfield could only half clear a Commercial corner. The next two goals came from 'SUPER SUB' Nick Sutcliffe. He is making a habit of coming off the bench like Ole Gunnar Solksjaer and scoring goals. He did again today, first firing home with his first touch from a Matty Simon pass and then turning home Lee Bull's through ball. Eastfield did nearly get on the score sheet but first Antony jones cleared off the line and then Kieran Sutcliffe pulled off another impressive full length save low to his right.

       Another strong cup performance, but now these performances need to be transferred into league form as the Commercial look to push up the league.
