Commercial HQ Match Report

       Commercial continued their poor start to their league campaign with a sub-standard performance against a strong and good footballing side in the Merry Monk. Commercial did start well and took an ealry lead and led at half time Through Jono Harding. Lee Bull slid in Jono Harding who, after being clattered into by the visiting goalkeeper picked up the loose ball and slide it home from a tight angle for his 5th goal in 3 games. But that was as good as it got for the Commercial in a poor showing.

       Merry Moink stepped up their efforts in the second half and dominated for most of the half but were fortunate to equalise as Adi Dodsworth inadvertantly diverted the ball past the stranded Kieran Sutcliffe. Merry Monk added two more goals before the game was up, one of them very dubiously offside, but it was well deserved.

       Commercial get a welcome break from their league campaign next week as they entertain New Rover in the 1st Round of the Leeds FA District Cup.
