Commercial HQ Match Report

       It was a dissapointing start to the League campaign by the Commercial, who were out done by a hard working Water into Beer side determined to keep up thier good record against Commercial at their home ground. Commercial went behind to aMatt Varley own goal, who had little luck by diverting past his own keeper. However Commercial weren't behind for long and responded by producing some neat football before Jono Harding played the ball into Matty Simon who managed to curl an effort into the top of the net. Then Water Into Beer capitalised on some sloppy play from the Commercial players to score some quick set piece goals to make the score 4-1.

        After the restart Commercial piled on the pressure but fell further behind to the Water Into Beer sucker punch. Commercial kept on going and managed to pull two late goals back one from Jono Harding and the other from Nick Sutcliffe.

        In summary Commercial played some neat stuff and created some very good opportunities but were few and far between. With the Antony Jones to return next week they can only hope to improve on the poor start.
