A much improved performance was demanded by Commercial manager Gary Simon and the team didn't disappoint. The game was evenly contested in the early stages with Commercial's Matty Simon latching onto a cross field pass from Jono Harding to volley home from eight yards after seven minutes. The lead only lasted four minues before Orginal Oak struck back from a well worked set-piece routine which was eventually converted after the initial shot rebounded off the cross bar for the foward to head home. Matty Simon managed to beat the off-side trap to control the ball from Adi Dodsworth pin point pass and majestically lob the ball over the advancing keeper, to make it 2-1. Original Oak's second equaliser was scored by the left winger who beat the goalkeeper Kieran Sutcliffe after Commercial's defenders pointed furiously at the poor decision to allow play to continue after looking five yards offside. Another fine move from Commercial, which started from Ryan McGee at left back, playing a neat one two with Matty Simon, who played a neat ball to to Jono Harding who crossed to the far post for Lee Bull to head home and score is first goal of the season. Orginal Oak responded by quickly in the second half by reacting to a mistake by Commercial players' for their striker to score from twenty five yards, beating Commercial's Kieran Sutcliffe at the near post for their third equaliser of the game. The game was being heavily influenced by some poor officating and was leaving the Commercial players very frustrated with his lack of decision making. The referee continued to infuriate Commercial players before Chris Jones was sent off for foul and abusive language, after already booking Jono Harding for the same thing and Captain Antony Jones for a late tackle Commercial still tried to find that killer goal that would give them their first win of the season never came but Orginal Oak snatched a late winner with only two minutes left to play. All in all a better performance but still a defeat. Heads up lads. That first win is just around the corner.
