Commercial HQ Match Report

       Commercial made a slow start to this league game and quickly found themselves two goals down going up the slope and against the wind. But despite this deficite they were still the better side, playing the better football. This proved to be the case for their first goal. Jono Hadring and Antony Jones combined well on the left which saw Nick Sutcliffe get away from his markers and his cut back was fired home first time into the top right hand corner by Paul Simon.

       Commercial were again slow out of the blocks in the second half again found the deficite two goals. But Matty Simon fired home from twenty yards straight from the kick off to drag the away side to within one goal of the hosts. The scores were soon level as Matty Simon played in Gary Simon* and he fired home at the near left hand post. Matty Simon made it 4-3 with a low drive into the near right hand post. Antony Jones nearly made i five but one effort came back off the bar and the other was well saved by the goalkeeper. Nick 'Ade Akinbiyi' Sutcliffe was the next to nearly make it five, but his five yard open goal effort was well saved by the goal mouth puddle! Nick made up for the miss with a stunning effort right on full time. He pick the ball up on the left and bent home a stunning effort into the top right hand corner, ala Cristiano Ronaldo! A Well earned 3 points making it 3 league wins in a row and a rise to 5th in the table.
